Getting rid of pimples can be easily done if you do it the right way. Unfortunately a lot of people tend to do it the wrong way. Squeezing, extracting and pinching are some of the techniques commonly used among a lot of those who want to get rid of a pimple overnight. It sure seems to work at first, but in the long run, the acne will get even worse. If we are to successfully get rid of a pimple overnight, we’ll need to find more clever ways to deal with this all too common skin problem. I’ve gathered the most common and proven solutions on how to get rid of a pimple overnight in the following article.

First, why doesn’t pinching and squeezing the pimple help?

When we squeeze the pimples, the acne gets worse. What really happens underneath the skin is that the skins pores can get damaged or even more clogged. Continuous squeezing of pimples will eventually lead to nasty looking scarring on the skin, and damage your skins natural ability to reproduce sebum (which is a natural oil produced by the body to keep your skin moist). I’m sure you’ve seen people who have large pores in their face. That is because their pores have been damaged from squeezing and pinching their acne.

So, How to Get Rid of a Pimple Overnight Without Squeezing it?

So when you look in the mirror and to your horror see that big oily thing, and you freak out because you were going out on a date the next night, what do you do?

1. The classic and most common tip – Apply toothpaste to the affected area. This tip is an oldie, and regarded as a myth by some, but it does really work to some extent. If it doesn’t help in reducing the pimple, at least it has a soothing effect on the pain that often comes with acne. Apply a little bit of toothpaste on the area, and let it work for 15-20 minutes while you’re watching TV or whatever you like to do.
2. If you have alcohol, you can apply it directly on the area that is affected, as this will dry out the pimple.
3. Wash your face in cold water to close up the pores, and pat it dry with a towel.
4. When you go to bed, make sure you do not sleep on the area with the pimple, as this can make the acne worse.
5. I don’t see a lot of people mentioning this one, but it really works:
Use an ice-pack, you know the ones commonly used on sprained ankles, or even just frozen vegetables. Put the ice-pack on the affected area, and let it be there for a minute or so. This works really good to reduce the swelling and redness that often occurs with the pimple. This can be applied just before you’re going out, so that the pimple is less visible if you haven’t managed to get rid of it.

Follow these tips and you should know how to get rid of a pimple overnight anytime those little buggers pop up.

Did you know that there are at least 10 things that people do wrong when it comes to skincare that are directly responsible for pimples?

I know about a complete solution to acne which will avoid these mistakes and have you free from pimples in as little as 3 days. It is a clinically proven step-by-step guide that will work for everyone.

What to Do About Your Acne Problems

If you are one of the millions of people effected by acne of some sort, then you definitely want a quick and easy solution that will leave you with results that let you feel and look your absolute best. This article contains some useful information regarding how to get rid of even the most stubborn acne, since many times it seems impossible to get rid of completely. If you really want to stop it from returning time and time again, then keep reading.

One of the best tricks to getting acne to stop coming back is to make sure that it doesn’t have a breathing ground inside your skin to do so. What I mean is that you need to make sure your skin is at its cleanest all the time. Acne forms on the surface of the skin when the pores becoming clogged with excess amounts of oils that are secreted as a result of a hormonal imbalance in the body. Although there are other causes for the formation of acne, this is the most common.

So what are you supposed to do? When soap and water just isn’t enough to keep your face and the rest of the skin on your body clean, you need something more powerful that will do a more thorough job. They are called topical treatment products and are sold in most drugstores across the country. They come in the form of ointments, lotions, facial scrubs/masks, and moisturizers.

Typically, a topical treatment product is applied twice a day, once when you get up in the morning and again before you go to bed at night. Letting these ointments or masks sit on your skin overnight effectively destroy the toxins and bacteria that clog your pores and cause the acne to form in the first place. It’s one of the most important things you can do for your skin. Since there is no one topical product that works for every person with acne, you might need to try a few different products. One way to speed up this process is to start looking at reviews of different topical products online to see which ones people have had the most success with.

Despite the great things people say about some acne products, I have found that most acne treatments simply did not work for me.

But after years of struggling to get rid of my acne, I finally found something that was able to almost completely cure my acne in less than a week.

Acne Home Remedies – True Blue Acne Killers!

by admin on Nov.08, 2009, under Health & Fitness

Source: articledashboard.com

Acne home remedies are true blue killers of acne. The concept of acne home remedies is based on adopting a curative approach towards treating acne. This means that acne home remedies are intended to cure acne rather than just treating the symptoms itself like what many of the over-the-counter or prescription medications do. Home remedies for acne are prepared using natural remedies and solutions so that the healing takes place from within our body system to effect complete healing. Discover more about acne causes and some simple acne home remedies you can start using today to help fight acne.

Acne is an inflammatory skin condition where sebaceous glands are most active and numerous. Acne can develop on the face, neck, back, arms and chest and affects 8 out of 10 teenagers to some degree. There are many reasons that have been linked to the occurrences of acne outbreaks. Common reasons include:

1. Puberty

Androgenic hormones eg testerones increase sebaceous gland activity, ie producing more sebum or oil resulting in blocked pores.

2. Diet

Excessive consumption of saturated fat, dairy products, protein, fried foods, carbonated drinks and lack of green vegetables in our diet can increase the risk of acne.

3. Nutritional Deficiencies

Nutritional deficiencies such as a lack in zinc and essential vitamins put one at higher risk of suffering from acne.

4. Poor Hygiene

Poor hygiene and unclean treatment of our skin can also lead to acne problems.

Acne home remedies seek to deal with some of the common causes of acne such as diet and nutritional deficiencies. The following are a few easy acne home remedies:

1. Non-Citrus All Fruit Acne Diet

By observing a non-citrus all-fruit diet for at least a week, it can cleanse our body of harmful toxins that could encourage the development of acne. Remember to consume only non-citrus fruits such as apricot, avocado, banana, cherry, damson, date, fig, grape, guava, kiwi fruit, mango, melon, nectarine, olive, papaya, passion fruit, peach, pear, pineapple, plum, pomegranate, quince, strawberry, watermelon and coconut.

2. Non-Saturated Fat Acne Diet

Remove saturated fats from your diet. Saturated fats are normally found in foods from animals such as cream, ice cream, whole milk, whole milk cheese, butter, lard and meats, and plant oils such as palm, coconut oils and cocoa butter. Diary products are one huge source of saturated fats and should be avoided at all costs. Try to include salads, cooked vegetables, seaweed, seeds and nuts, whole grains, beans and tofu in your meals.

3. Therapeutic Agents

Daily intake of therapeutic agents such as vitamins and zinc are effective against acne. Vitamin A and zinc help to regulate the sebaceous gland’s production of sebum, the root cause of acne. Other vitamins may have antibiotic properties to cure acne.

Helpful Tips to Get Rid of Acne Forever

by admin on Nov.05, 2009, under Health & Fitness

Source: ezinearticles.com

When you are facing acne problems, you need all the help you can get. This includes looking on the internet for a way to getting your skin back to the smooth and beautiful look it once had. This article will give you many different helpful tips that will assist you in finally getting rid of your acne for good. Don’t buy into what some people say about how difficult or impossible getting rid of acne is. Those people rarely have the facts and they certainly don’t know how to go about getting rid of acne properly. With the right information, you will.

Let’s start off by briefly discussing why acne occurs, so you will then be in a better position to treat it. With most people who have acne problems, there is a chemical imbalance which forces the body to secrete an extra amount of oils that the body needs to stay healthy. These excess oils get into the pores of the skin and they become clogged, causing the nasty zits and pimples that seem to pop up overnight.

To counteract these oils that build up, you can do many different things, one of which is developing a cleaning regimen. You may already clean your face with soap and water each day, but for an acne sufferer it’s just not enough. You have to start doing more by purchasing a topical cleaning product like a facial scrub that will get deep down into the pores of the skin, unclogging them and removing acne for good.

Another good tip to getting rid of your acne is to choose your medications and treatment products very carefully. Make sure that the company who makes the product you are using is trustworthy and has a reputation for making quality products that generally deliver results to the people who use them. It’s a good idea to get on the internet and look up different topical products as well as their reviews from people who have tried them, that way you don’t end up wasting time or money on something that won’t work for you. It’s always important to remember to work smart, not hard.

Despite the great things people say about some acne products, I have found that most acne treatments simply did not work for me. But after years of struggling to get rid of my acne, I finally found something that was able to almost completely cure my acne in less than a week. Click below to read my acne story:

Six Ways to Eliminate Acne in Seven Days Or Less

by admin on Nov.01, 2009, under Health & Fitness

Author: Avril Harper
Source: ezinearticles.com

Specialist doctors and acne consultants suggest acne sufferers must establish an all day skin care regime which may work very well, but can also become an obsession with acne sufferers, who may not want to leave their peer group to carry out complex skin cleaning methods or smoothing foul smelling creams into their skin every few hours of every single day. Thankfully there are six easier, more effective, and far less obvious ways to treat acne and annihilate it for life.

Acne is a severe and very distressing and sometimes disfiguring skin disorder affecting millions of people all across the world. Acne can not only look bad, it can also make sufferers feel bad and can lead to complex psychological and emotional disorders. The problem most commonly appears on the face and neck, also the chest and back, and can affect people in their early teens and often long into later life. By far the worst problem of acne is that, if not treated in time, it can lead to scars and deep pits in the skin that can continue for life.

In recent years skin specialists have suggested the following as the easiest and possibly the most effective ways to treat acne:

1. Skin should always be kept clean and free of thick creams and make up which can block the pores and further the development of acne and other skin problems. Sufferers should clean their skin at least twice a day with a mild cleanser and using light one way stroking movements across the skin. Cleansers should not be rubbed into the skin or they make seep into the pores and cause clogging. Two way cleaning motions should be avoided where the hand or cleaning cloth is pressed against the skin and rubbed in two directions which causes the skin to stretch and can cause the infection to spread to other areas of the face. A one way gentle movement is best, with the fingers or cloth floating lightly over the skin.

2. Over-cleaning the skin can cause dryness which can look every bit as bad as acne and can also lead to redness and itching. Astringents are advised by some specialists but not recommended by others, except for people with very oily skin. Astringent can be very painful on open and damaged pores.

3. Avoid touching or stroking the skin which can cause the infection to spread to unaffected areas. Wash your hands as often as possible and use perfume free skin cream to keep the hands soft and prevent drying.

4. Do not squeeze pimples or spots or pick away dry flakes. All will worsen the condition and can cause scarring.

5. Be careful choosing face care products and make up. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to prescribe make up, after shave lotion, and other skin care products that won’t exacerbate an acne problem. All make up must be oil free, as must shampoos and hair products especially where acne exists on the scalp or hairline.

6. Acne and other skin conditions do not require huge sums of money to cure, in fact the best methods of curing acne are free or very low cost, such as drinking lots of water every day, getting plenty of fresh air, using perfume free and that usually means inexpensive skin and hair care products, and remembering to get plenty of sleep to cope with the emotional concerns sometimes plaguing acne sufferers.

Everybody has had some form of acne in their lifetime. As teenagers we remember the days that breakouts seemed to just happen overnight, both boys and girls were susceptible to these. But in time most people out grow this stage and develop clean healthy skin. There are some that just don’t get to this stage no matter how often they wash their face or how many creams they apply. There are many adults who suffer from problem acne for most of their lives, causing them to suffer from social anxiety and possibly depression.

There are ways to cure acne at any age and here I will show you how to naturally cure acne with a long term diet. This is not a quick fix to an acne problem, this is a change in lifestyle so results will take time. There are natural methods that will work faster and I suggest if you are looking for a more immediate cure you research them but over time these methods I discuss will decrease the appearance of acne.

The Clear Skin Diet:

The over production of Sebum is a direct cause of acne. The sebum is naturally produced where hair grows and it can block pores if it is overly produced. One potential way of fixing this is through your diet. Before starting a diet program you may want to seek the advice of a qualified Nutritionist as every digestion system is unique and every body processes food differently. Here are the rough guidelines for the diet.

Water: It imperative that you drink at least 6 glasses a day. Water is a natural cleanser of the skin.

Fiber: Eat as many grains and beans as possible as fiber is one of the keys to this diet.

Fish Oil: 1 tablespoon of fish oil daily.

Orange and yellow fruits: 5 colorful fruits per day. Yellow/red/orange

No dairy foods: Use alternatives such as Soya and Tofu.

Tea or coffee: Try to limit yourself to 1 or 2 servings a day.

Red meat: Try to limit eating red meat to once or twice weekly.

Fried foods: Do not eat any fried foods. Grilled, steamed or boiled only.

Fatty foods: Avoid these at all costs. Anything like butter, ice cream or cream.

Trans fats: Easier to do these days with warning labels and most restaurants removing Trans fats from their menus. Avoid the intake of Trans fats. Smoking: Avoid smoking for obvious reasons but for damage to the skin as well.

Following this diet or any diet similar will help your acne over time. There are other methods that may provide a shorter term solution and many of them are natural cures that do work. There have been many new treatments developed in recent years and a lot of people have had successes with them. Any acne cure should be researched fully before starting to make sure it is suitable for your lifestyle.

I know that what I am about to reveal to you can be almost impossible to believe. But it is 100% truth! Do you know I can show you how to naturally cure acne in 3 days? Seems impossible right? Well see for yourself follow this link
