Use Moisturizers – This may seem a little counter productive when the idea is have skin that is a clean and clear as possible. But you also need to keep the skin healthy, and this means using a moisturizer daily. If you don’t, and the skin dries out, the body will react by producing more oil and getting irritated, leading to more acne.
Get Some Sun – Don’t just hide in the dark away from the sun. While you definitely don’t want to be out in the sun baking yourself into a piece of belt leather, you do need some sun exposure each day to stimulate the production of healthy skin. Spend ten minutes or so a day getting as much as possible of you in the sun. make sure you don’t do it when the sun is at it’s hottest, though.
Relax – Stress is a major cause of acne, so you need to set aside some time each day to relax. Find a cool dark room, lie down, and try to clear your mind. Take deep regular breathes and try to relax all your muscles until you feel like a pool of pudding. This will do wonders for your stress level, which will do wonders for your acne.
